Our children are beginning to work together on tasks, such as completing jigsaws together.
Playdough
Playing with the dough helps children build strength and dexterity in their fingers, which they will need later for drawing and writing.
Book lovers
It’s lovely to see even our youngest children enjoying books.
Creative play
As the weather is getting colder, the children have been playing inside more and we have really seen their creativity developing.
Enjoying being together
It is lovely to see how much the children enjoy each other’s company.
New Play Equipment
We had some new play equipment installed last week. We are waiting for the surface to be put underneath and then the children will be able to practise their climbing skills. We wanted to give the children extra climbing/ play area experiences as we know that during lockdown 2020 they all missed out on visits to soft play venues and playgrounds.
Visit from Jet the Police Dog
On Tuesday we were visited by Jet the Police Dog. The children learnt about keeping safe and how Police Officers can help us stay safe.
Toothbrushing
Getting into good teeth cleaning habits whilst children are young is so important, and something that we learn about at nursery. Please find useful guidance below.

Exploring inside
The children have explored our indoor resources when the rain has been too heavy to play outside in.
Autumn has arrived
Autumn has arrived and the children are making good use of the leaves in our outdoor kitchen.
